Reading through the comments all I see is "This idle game should go faster!" which is counter-intuitive to the purpose of an idle game... It's supposed to have walls, it's supposed to go slowly, it's literally this generations tamagotchi's. I understand some of the feature requests, but asking for it to go faster makes 0 sense.
As many others have already commented. The pay wall in this game is a horrible decision by the devs. As someone who donates to games all the time for the perm upgrades, like 2x speed or damage or w/e, putting a continual cash grab in the form of a portal timer literally killed the game for me. The greed of this dev is astounding and the game will die because of it. Shame on you
The portal timer is very short and should generally never be an issue, unless you reset a ton of times really early in the game, which is your choice to do but not an optimal strategy by any means. Even then the re-charge time is low. And there is no way to "pay" to avoid the re-charge, so how can it be a paywall? Try to push longer before resetting, you will gain more shards that way. Plus the further you get into the game the longer it takes to get back to your "wall" stage(s). The refresh timer should not be an issue at that point.
After looking through the comments I had to hold back my laughter at all the "1 star OMFG WHY YOU ASK FOR SAVE YES" comments. It was released on april 1st and the dev posted in a reply that this was an early release joke for the full game that they are developing... Just lols and lots of them
Suggestion. Make tiers for gems raise as you progress in mining levels. Don't add high tier gems (Tier 10, 11, and 13) to low level minerals (Brimstone). Once I get into + minerals *Even before if I want* I can mine tier 14 gems like water. It would be better if each tier was associated with a grouping. Non + would have tier 1-4, + would be tier 5-8, and so on with the % rate of drop rising as you get to tougher minerals. I'm currently lvl 200 and getting roughly 10 tier 16 gems off of brimstone (From fusing) every 10-15 minutes. If there was an actual progression, or the next thing to strive for, it would make this game loads better. Just my 2 cents =)
So after 2 days of playing and 1 reset I am at the end in fully upgraded devil armor. There really is no play after this except stacking mines with workers and sitting on hoards of minerals. A good idle game should last longer than 2 days IMO. Good start though, it was enough to keep me coming back for those 2 days heh
I went through and read all the down rated comments.. And what I figured out is a majority of the negative comments seem to be from people who have a -lot- more experience with the game then they're letting on. I mean, most sound jaded, as if they use to play and quit for some reason or another... If I'm a 'fanboy' (Granted I just started the game a few days ago when it started on kong and I do in fact enjoy it) what does that make you at the complete opposite of the spectrum? You don't have to donate to have a blast in the game, I come back multiple times a day to use up my blood lust. I don't understand why the game has received such a negative reception here at kong... Because it's from facebook and accepts donations for gear? That can't be the only reason.
@Handsomee - How long did you play? 10 minutes? I've only been playing for a couple days, both here and on FB. And the only issue I have with the game is the BL regen in the beginning. But I've already gotten items that raise my max BL. In only a couple days! I'm not even lvl 10 yet, here or on FB, and my max BL is 330 and I haven't even -thought- about donating O.o You should play a little longer before you make any judgments about long-term games.
The playerbase is friendly, the guilds are helpful, the time per BL in the start is frustrating but manageable with craftable items and later in lvls not an issue at all. Overall I give this game a 4/5. Would be 5/5 is BL in the beginning wasn't so frustrating.
