Great game! Only hangup was on level 10. Looking at it you would think it would be easier to get the square on the right first. But once you get the trick it's easy!
not bad all in all. I generally got the idea of what needed to be done next, but some things dont make sense. Sump pumps generally dont need to be opporated, and those that do dont need gloves. Metal pipes cannot be crimped. Spark plugs are on the engine, not in the cabin. Generally the headlights are to the left of the steering column. If there was a short in the basement with the water then it would have blown the fuse.
Other than that though I really liked the idea. Favorite challenge was the keys with the water. I also kept expecting to meet the zombie's brother, or was I supposed to be the brother?
Sequel?
all in all not a bad beginning, but there are some things that need some work. The largest thing is the balance of the game. In the first level I felt short on cash, so I spent all of my upgrades on cash which then allowed me to upgrade my units way too easily. I mean, why put the money in faster fire or larger range when you can get all the above by upgrading your units? I also felt like I was waiting too much of the time. Especially when you can win almost all of the levels with 2-3 towers, and just keep upgrading them. Your just waiting for the money to upgrade, hit the plus sign, and then your stuck waiting for money again... not too exciting.
Now with that said, I like the military theme, the music was alright, the graphics were sharp, and it ran smooth (which can be an accomplishment in its own). I'll be waiting for the next revision.
