Rather than a Buy x10, or x50, or however much, I'd say add the ability to buy up to the next major version, or a research that reduces the upgrades needed to reach the next major version. After a couple of reboots, everything above version 7 can really take a while of holding the mouse button to reach. If you move the mouse, it'll stop upgrading, too.
Not a major issue, so much as something that makes upgrading above version 7 a bit more expedient.
Went on over to check out the new version, but it won't load. Just sits there with a white screen. Tried it on simple graphic settings, and got the same. Too bad. I liked this one. Thanks for the fun, but I guess this is the end for me.
Game no longer loads. Unity plug in keeps crashing. Worked fine yesterday, but after Kon demanded a Flash update, no longer works right. Ah well. Fun while it lasted, I suppose.
Here's a feature that might have numerous advantages. Obviously, I've no idea if this is feasible, but I figured I'd toss it out there.
Adding a button to the UI bar at the bottom that let's you pull up a screen so you can check the current stats and health of your Guildians. For example, I know the Knight offers an area defense, but I'm unclear if that alters the defense of other units, such as the Adventurer.
It would also allow those of us who can't quite see which Guildians are taking damage in combat encounters, or that can't see our Guildians and their health bars at all, to get an idea of who is weakest and where to invest in leveling up for boss and combat fights.
Understandably, this may be a complex system to create and implement, if it is even possible to do so, depending on how the game is coded, or other factors I have no understanding of. Still, figured I'd offer it as a possible idea to make a fun game more interactive and engaging.
Just a heads up to the other players. If you cannot see your Guildians on the map as they move from node to node, it may be related to your video card. I can't see them on one computer, but can on a different one with better graphics capabilities. So, be careful of the combat nodes, as you won't be able to see their health. Not sure if this something Hyper Hippo can fix or not, as it does seem to be a graphics card issue.
Okay, so, I checked the game on my girlfriend's computer, and the Guildians are visible there, so odds are, me not being able to see them has something to do with my nVidia graphics card. As usual. Doubt there's much that can be done about that.
Still not gaining any Prestige that I can tell, and my Guildians are still invisible, but I'll take the manual save button, since the game still works even with those issues. Much appreciated. :)
Just a heads up, but my Prestige bar doesn't fill. I've had the game running a little while now, and it's still at zero. On the other hand, my Guildians aren't pink blocks anymore, but they are invisible, so... that's something.
Having the same problem as others with the auto save. Built up some stuff, let it sit for a good twenty minutes, then left. Came back this morning, and I've got nothing. Gonna go ahead and chime in on the manual save idea. (I'm a pest, I know. Sorry about that.)
Sorry to bring it up again, but still got a pink/purple square in place of a Guildian. Tried refreshing the page, tried leaving and coming back after 20 minutes, tried playing the game with a different browser( Chrome. I play on Firefox, since Chrome hates me and everything about me.) Checke to make sure my Unity plug in was up to date, and even restarted my computer. The square remains. It isn't game breaking or anything, just kinda distracting, but I figured you should know, since it is being very stubborn about not being a square.
The Tavern is a pretty easy fix, at least concept wise. Every level allows you to group up to six Guildians together, so they always work as a team. Make it kinda expensive, if you like, but as the road gets longer, being able to have multiple parties running without having them get all tangled up would be great.
Concept wise, an easy thing. No idea how hard it would be from the coding end.
It sadly is not something we know how to fix (if it's possible at all). At least until we try a different platform and not WebGL!
