Most games of this genre incentivize height, because bouncing lowers your speed. This game encourages staying low to the ground and just boosting whenever you slow down. I rather dislike how simple that is.
Feature: When you die, you lose all items gained since last save, but keep quest progress.
Bug: Completing a quest, obtaining the reward, and dying before you next save will keep the quest completed, but remove the reward, thereby making you unable to ever get that reward again, ever.
I'm not bitter about losing the ultimate wand to a stupid, easily avoidable death, nope, not me. *Sigh*
I seem to be having the same problem as the previous folks, I died in the late night level and respawned inside a wall next to the chocolate store. A great game up until it glitched though! Please do fix this soon.
Glitch report: Against the final boss, if he summons a paladin it can resurrect him, restoring him to full health. I'm assuming this is a glitch on the basis that he isn't dead. Not particularly major, seeing as the final boss is a joke to beat anyway, but it still needs fixing. As a note to players, stunning paladins does wonders, no matter what point in the game you're at.
I swear I had just started a new file after 100% madcap when the badges came out. I think that the Roboticus Maximus award should give you the easy badge on the off chance that one beat the game then started a new file before the badges came out.
A little secret that you might not notice in a typical playthrough: If you talk to Gallovar after saving Goznor from the zombies, he'll give you a yalortian amulet, which can teach your paladin friend green lightning. Figured I should mention it because none of the top comments do and neither does the walkthrough.
Love the game, wonderful concept, well executed, great character sprite, the puzzles are at just the right difficultly level... but I was kind of expecting more than just a link to your site from the credits cannon.
