It says I have 6.62k true disciples available, but I need 918 to make them ambitious. Is there a display error with one of the numbers, or am I missing something else I need to turn them? First Disciple does not give the option.
Hey there, yes, the number displayed on the progress bar is currently bugged because I put in the wrong value, sorry :D It will be fixed in the next update. As for the actual number needed, you should have 102 AD at the moment, which means you need 99 times that (10098 to be exact)
Be careful. My cache progress completely reset after I got disconnected from the score system (by accidentally opening another game without realizing this was open), and the only reason I only lost 2 days was because I'd experimentally created a save file. Going to be interesting to see if I can still make the badge...
No need to "come back later and do it again", below level 70 or so (from what I've read elsewhere, and it holds true at level 7 at least) you can refresh energy for free. So you can basically do the entire lot in one go.
As someone who's very rarely missed a daily puzzle since it started, I'm sad to see no new puzzles will be added. But thank you very much for this daily entertainment for so many years, it's been a lot of fun, and I wish you the best with your new project. Toss us a link when it's done :)
Amateurs. 1053 hours and 28 minutes. But to be fair, a significant portion of that is probably having it on pause while I needed to take care of something else.
Save works on Chrome for me, but not Firefox (ESR). On Firefox the save has never worked since release, and I had to restart from 0 every time I loaded the game. At least there are no game-loading problems anymore.
Heh, that had me stumped for a little bit, but yeah, you missed it. On the 4-1-5-2 row, you can add an x next to those 2 squares (or the 5-2 won't work) and work on the bottom right corner from there. Good luck!
Apparently the daily window is much smaller than the current month. Just got back from vacation, can't go further back than the 20th or the daily will fail. A shame, hadn't missed any before.
johnjgoat: Daily puzzles are the answer. Make sure to use bonus xp badges. It took me years of daily puzzles to get to 100, but I always used flat bonus badges rather than category badges, so those are advisable too. But as long as you do the daily puzzles every day, you'll get there eventually.
It looks like a circus elephant balancing on a ball or small podium of a sort. There's more than one way to represent an abstract concept like "balance"!
Eh, got the chinese castle without guessing yesterday. Think it took me about 20 minutes. Quite long, with often only one further step available each time, but at least it was a bit more challenging than all those sub-5min puzzles we've had recently. I could take a few more of these!
Based on the comments I expected there to be guesswork, and I thought that was true when I got to that point, but it's false. Once you have the 3-2 and 2-3 (but don't know which goes where) you know that the double 1-1 in the vertical columns have to match up with the 2-3 and 3-2 lines - which means you can eliminate possibilities at the top and bottom of the remaining area. Once you do that, it becomes much simpler. I finished the puzzle with no guessing.
