In all honesty, I find this sequel rather lackluster compared to the original Valthirian Arc. I understand this uses a new engine and different people are working on it, but still, why churn out a sequel when it doesn't perform as well as the original?
I find the sound quality to be atrocious compared to VA1, with almost none of the music really popping out to me. The pacing is extremely slow, both in and out of hunting missions (unless you have a scout, but I feel that's a wasted party member when I could use a higher tier class with a better ultimate). Managing your student's is a nightmare once you go 40+, and I gotta be honest, I'm really sad to not see the return of a certain class. *cough* Dragoon *cough*
Overall, only aspect I really liked was the fact there's a little bit of a story going on and the whole tycoon-esque simulation going on.
