The engrish is a little bad too...

...um, what? And it doesn't even seem like the splash tower does anything...
Tower system is completely worthless... it's far more worth it to simply keep your units moving. And agreed about the attack system... I found myself repeatedly sending units the wrong way between my towers because the game didn't register my first click.
Pause is buggy - it killed the music and left a bullet sitting in the middle of the field that never went away, even between levels. If it helps, I paused while it was fading between levels.
Uh... have any of you ever played RISK? Yes, defense wins on a tie, but attack gets up to three dice. Minimum amount of troops that you get at the beginning of your turn is three. The game does need a manual to explain its rules, but it's fairly balanced.
