You know, if you link to another game that you've created that's on this site, don't have the link take me to another gaming site. If I choose to play LM2, I want to play it on Kongregate, not on Armor Games. Thanks.
Not a bad idea, but I find there are too many asteroids flying around causing more planets to be born than I can handle, and then asteroids bounce off of those planets altering orbit paths even in locked mode, which makes the whole thing very unstable and hard to control. When its not planets crashing into each other, asteroids slow them down enough that they crash into the sun. Nice effort, needs alot of tweaking tho.
Nicely done, well improved over the first one. I especially like the music in this one, particularly the title screen music.. its so awesome! I wish it were a full length song. Whomever this gebz person is, he has to do it! dooo eeet!!! 5/5
time attack corrupted my ship and my savegames are now gone. refreshing the page now just shows the about window that I cant get rid of and am no longer able to play. BUGGY!
It's possible to get stuck on the lag level, without any way to complete the level. I had to start over from the beginning. This game could use a reset button, or an autosave feature. 3/5 because of this problem.
@MrSun Even if he did, I doubt Richard Garriott (or whoever owns the game now) would have given him consent to use it outside of the ultima world and liscence. Even if everything in this flash game was created byt undefined himself, he still does not have the rights to use them as he please. I work for a game company myself, and it is made Very clear that anything you create, do, and otherwise bring to the work environment is and becomes the property of the developer.
But with all that aside, it is still poor creativity and originality to use something that has already "been done"; that is to say that it already exists somewhere else. While the gameplay is not in question here, his source material is, at least to me.
Looks like pretty much everything used to create this game came from Ultima Online. First of all the grey/gold symbol is UO's symbol (the symbol is U on top of an O), the mage sprites have the same animations as in UO, probably all the sprites are taken from there. Yew is also a town in the game. So much for creativity!
Some of your 1.2 changes have severely nerfed some skills, notably hail of arrows. Gratend the skill was over powered with the %to kill stat, but the changes you made to both rly "killed" that combo (forgive the pun).
Allow me to explain: at its base, it now has highly reduced chances to hit with both arrows because each of them hits at 70% accuracy. With the change to % to kill (and other dmg stats, but lethal and stun got hit the worst), the stat is now divided by the number of targets and then again by 2. So in a 6 enemy battle, given 30% lethal stat, each arrow only has 2.5% to kill. I dunno maybe thats how you wanted it, but seems severe IMO. Still a great game tho :D
I think that having weapons and gear in general that has high stats, but should probably be toned down progressively as the item quality goes down. Maybe keep the items the same for purple, and make bosses have a chance to drop orange items.
I agree that the challenge becomes nil when you get passed level 8 or so, so that could use some help.
Honestly tho, you should seriously consider turning this into a web-based MMO. I'm hooked!
Don't know if this was fixed or is even known but, pressing the type sort button will eat a potion and turn it into the first item in the list. HUGE BUG!
Pretty good game.. alot of room for improvement tho. My biggest gripe with it is that defending creatures actually do damage with they defense stats, which makes no sense to me. There should be 2 rolls done. one for the attacker, then the defender using his own attack value. Creatures that dont take damage on a failed attack simply skip the defender's attack roll. Otherwise, a savable deck and more options would make this alot better.
