3/5 The game would be improved if the developers would commit to their 'snarky cynical' approach to the storyline and ease up on their "lazy apathetic" approach. The feel of the game works when they describe the characters as being immoral and wrong headed, and fails when they say 'or whatever... I'm tired" to acknowledge that they are refusing to commit to finishing the game properly. Also gameplay still feels a little under developed. Need more things to spend gold on, need more choices to make on the map screen, need more customization options for your army.

Having a bug: Upon picking up my 6th spell, it went to my inventory, which I'm assuming its suppose to. Whenever I try to swap it in for one of my other spells, it tells me "Use an empty cell to swap items!" Whenever I drag one of my other spells to an empty inventory cell to make space for the new spell, and then drag the new spell into the empty space, it still gives me the message. I can unequip all of my previous spells and re-equip them, but regardless I don't seem to be able to equip that new spell. If it matters the new spell was Bless weapon.

Liking it so far my main suggestion applies to two separate parts of the game: even if I don't have enough resources to complete an action, I should still be able to browse to help me make plans for when I do have the resources. Outside of battle this applies to building. It would help me navigate the road forks if I new what resources I would need for what buildings. Secondly in battle, I have absolutely nothing to do when I can't afford to lay down a unit, so I'd like to be able to use that time to plan, but I can only hover unit range when I have enough to buy that unit.

Pretty good. Game wood be better if there were less letters or if you had to make words out of contiguous letters. As is, the board is just to open with possibility.

The battles need to be slowed down. I've never seen a lane-battler this fast, and it really interfers with strategy, turning it into a button masher.

Refreshingly original. Little rough around the edges, but new concept beats well polished plagiarism any day. I'm torn on the idea of having winnable levels. One hand- it could give a sense of success and make the game more intense, as there would be something at stake. Otherhand, as it is there's a Zen feel that is kinda relaxing. The big thing it needs is a better upgrade system. Instead of capping the number of upgrades you can have, I think you should weaken the upgrades, but make it where you can buy them multiple times, ala Diablo2. Also should give options to upgrade the cannon, let the player choose between a minion based strategy, or a proactive shooter playing style. As is, it reaches a point where shooting becomes almost irrelevant, because the fire rate, bullet speed, and bullet spread don't scale in a way that keeps up with your super upgraded ships.

Warning, bad review: My computer is new, and had no lag problems the whole way through. I thought the game was weak(especially since the lag warnings got me hoping for something amazing). The graphics weren't even that impressive. The mandatory text and interludes and tutorial pop ups that you had to wait through were obnoxious, especially considering the extreme degree to which they phoned in the 'storyline'. They should have just taken those right out. Music, bad. Obviously the game play is unoriginal, but it also is a bad rendition of its genre. No strategy required. Hold click button at hoard until its dead, when reloading jump hoard and run. When you hit a rough patch die as many time as you need to level up and you'll soon be past it. I stopped having fun around the time I outgrew the shotgun. Maybe it was an attempt at a 'stealth element' but having monsters colored so that they blended into the background in the last too levels just hurt my eyes.

competently made, but uninspired. The only thing that makes the game playable beyond 1 round is upgrades. Cheap trick. The dash power up is more of a hindered than a bonus, and usually just sends me off of a clip.

pretty good game, but the controls kind of sucked. Should have found away to make it 1 hand mouse, 1 hand keyboard. It's akward to try to leap between the 1234 keys and the asd keys. If nothing else, you could have the the keys tied to a given skill, actually activate that skill instead of just selecting it. When my summons drop, I hate having to look at the keyboard to hit the key for a summon, hit d key to activate, hit another key for another summon, hit d to activate it, then hit the key to get back to my primary combat ability.

5 stars! Is it just me, or did the colors used to denote critter element just get a lot better. I don't have to squint to tell the difference between energy and earth any more. Feature request: Make a character's icon flash if they have skill points to spend. Its kind of annoying to click through all of the characters I just used looking for skill points, and sometimes I forget

this is the first one of these types of games that I've ever enjoyed. The rich complexity of the physics engine really holds my interest where usually "beat up the doll" games bore me after 2 minutes and make me feel dirty. Can't wait to see the final version with the kinks worked out. I suggest a setting that let's you make blood fade after a certain time, or a total limit to the number of blood drops, after which new ones replace old ones. I like the blood, but I get tired of having to clean up the ocean at the end of a long complex scenario.

most of these 'puzzles' just come down to trial and error, and as others have said the greatest challenge are the riot levels, which are 10% problem solving 90% difficult mouse work. The instructions should be 'use your wrist'. The only decent riddle was the 4th one. The others just don't have any twist or wordplay. The third one was barely sensical, without being a difficult. The fourth one was alright. The route levels required just as much careful keyboarding as strategy, and the river levels were more boring trial and error(not to mention a knock off of other flash games). The only parts beyond the first screen that were particularly enjoyable were the rotary levels (though they weren't remotely challenging) and the 4th riddle. The music was great though.

It bugged out on me, and I was no longer able to click a unit to upgrade it. Clicking on the unit instead highlighted his attack area. Also, if there is no choice in how you upgrade the monsters you might as well just make it happen automatically.

Originality complaints aside, it is fun and well made. However, I thought it was quite annoying that there isn't a button to get into the upgrade shop from the continue/replay screen. Also there should be a counter on this screen telling you how many total candies you currently have.

Bout time someone put up a decent Diablo clone. And its sufficiently unique to stand out. Needs some polish though. I encountered a few hardcore glitches, but nothing that prevented my progress. I was pleasantly surprised by how effective an Atlantan Explorer build could be. My biggest complaint is the severe gimpedness of the charm spell. If its going to be so mana-expensive and have a time-limit, it should atleast be useful. The problem is that the charmed monster almost never actually fights. Most the time it just stands still, but even if it does move, it usually runs to you instead of to enemies. Further if you charm an enemy from a distance all the baddies run right past him to you. Since the charmer has no 2nd spell and his first one is broken, it shouldn't be a playable class.

Great. I do think that it could be improved. Obviously there are glitches, but anything that involves streaming music from a third party to multiple people with different connection speeds is probably gonna be that way. The visuals are kind of god awful. I'm not asking for fancy graphics, just different aesthetic choices than flat gray with pink, green and periwinkle highlights. Finally needs more genres. Oldies, would be great, or even better, all genres.
