Benstomper, Miguel. I had the same problem, but i slove this. Its good to use save button before leave. The game may dont save it auto after closing page etc. but just in intervals or smth like that, dont know, didn't pay attention. Hope it will help.

You can do that already by holding down Shift+Control when clicking the downgrade button.
