The music is from Commodore 64 game called "Quedex". If you want more just type "6 1/2 hours of Commodore 64 SID Music" on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UD7Ti5-X5Ww&t=5757s
Maybe someday I will make an english version of that game so more people could play it. It's a game made for a few friends of mine. A one day at work adventure experience (from dusk till down). Most of the action takes place in a warehouse (unfortunately that's where we are working at the moment). Robert Bodnar is a friend of mine (hence the title).
While you are still working out the kinks, I have to say that this is one of the most engaging mechanics I have seen in years. I can't wait to see where you go with this.
Image flip the game. It's a conspiracy, see Kong is owned by gamestop, which is using the Papa series to test the long term gain of making the same game 30 times over with small player incentive to join. This is how we get the "HD" remake 2 years after initial release, because Papa's numbers made it viable.
I guess my first, and major point of criticism, is that when obtaining free keys, the game pauses. Depending how long the process is, you almost somewhat give the incentive a wash for silver chests.
That's an interesting idea, and in principle I agree with you. The reason the game pauses sometimes is that some events may overlap and cause confusion/screen overloading.
On it's own, this is still a fantastic game, but I already cleared the content a month ago, and there hasn't been any of the updates promised months ago. I check in occasionally, because of how great this game is, but at the same time, I worry that Oninou is being overly cautious in delaying its release.
Well i will release the full game this weekend even if the programmer hasn't finished with the server cause it's been too long and i myself haven't worked on the game for over a month
I can't be any help with the server code etc... so i can't help speed up the thing
So far the authentication and online save work properly (was just waiting for the offline progress and a ad watcher) I only got 1 news about 2 weeks ago the past 2 month from him so i think he kinda gave up on the project
The game will be released with a online save (that i hope it work properly) and the offline code but not from a server
Sorry for the long delay
Great game, you can tell that the creator put some love and time into it. Only complaint, wasn't clear that holding down the left mouse button over the monsters would click attack, which is an awesome feature, but learned only after carpel tunnel syndrome kicked in.
No way, I accidently clicked double while trying to scroll down, and spent 25 rubies without warning. Not a very good practice making rubies spending a single click, without confirmation.
Broken in several ways, the biggest one is the bubble shield still allows hawks to grab you (bubble shield is also a hindrance rather than a powerup... can't speed up in it so it closes you out essentially). I really can't recommend the game until it gets some fixes.
If you are making a running game, you might need to add a storyline, and why the cowboy you control is not using his gun... and why there are spikes everywhere, and I guess random boxes. With a game like this, just telling us to avoid stuff without any payoff is rather depth breaking. That said, its a good first try, and other than a few minor things I would say that you got the code down and hitbox pretty well.
i am working on a story to actually make you want to finish the game, the thing i was going for was that all of it doesnt really make any sense, like the spikes and all that stuff, still got some stuff to iron out, thanks for the feedback, its really appreciated :)
