An android version would be awesome. This game is fantastic. Literally half of the comments in here complain about the controls. Stop being fuc|t get hurt. Stop your complaining. The difficulties are great and it would be great to even get harder levels. ChaoticHeartLD, this game is amazing and the controls are perfect the way they are.
ugh seriously, this is a good game, but
not that good, really should put something new on the front page.... I don't care if it has the highest rating, but after half a year a change is nice.
I think this game is so well received because of it's simplicity. Very clean, well-done interface, and it is an easy game to learn. The game's option to speed it up and automatically send out waves is very practical, and the game itself is very long.
I really don't know how people find this game, but just for the heck of it, I will let you know what I am doing with flash. Right now I am mostly doing a lot of sample code. Physics, platforming, website programming, I attempted fancy pants adventure type code with some success. It is so time consuming so I rarely ever develop any of it into a game, it is more of a hobby right now. I show it to a few friends, that is about it. I wrote in description that I would be making a game (guess I lied), maybe I might do a collaboration game if I ever found something. I do animation too... school starting isn't helping progess at all. Go to my deviant art page if you want to see any more of my stuff.
#!$!# RUNESCAPE!
Anyways, this game only has okay content IF you have a suscription, if you did, you would be playing on Runescape.com. Kongregate doesn't have ONE single suscriber game, who wants runescape to be the first. We might not be able to take it off, but we sure as hell can rate it one star for suckiness graphics. I did better 3d in my programming class.
Chuckle, level E is hard. These types of games make you cry and leap for joy. (more crying though) I would make a sequel, just change up the graphics and add some more courses (and obstacles) You don't even need to write new code for it. Excellent job of hitTest as well (probably would of been harder if the target wasn't a dot though). Did you just use something like this: if (_root.wall.hitTest(_root.dot._x,_root.dot._y, true) {
//restart level }?
KEYBOARD IS HARD.
Good game, I read a flash tutorial which has very CLOSE graphics to yours. I am guessing you got some inspiration from him . You took this game to a high standar
To anyone who actually reads this, I have been working on some advanced scripts I cannot seem to get working, so I might post some little fun arcade game on here soon... who knows how lazy I will be.
Er, I like graphics alot, and since the people playing are going to be patiently watching the screen for a good amount of time, I think the design should be revisited and rethinked, just a thought. I think these little things are important.
One word.
Animation.
Would step this game up a level.
This game has amazing visuals, but it feels sorta static. Some smoothe slow animation in the background, or some more character animation would make it more interesting.
@Hobbitten - Choosing a deck name is a good plan, because in the future there we will be a lot of cards and strategies, so organizing would be beneficial. If you cannot come up with a name, you can always simply use (EX: Deck1, Deck2, Deck3, ect.)
The deck builder is... sub-par. Not very easy to scroll through, you can only see roughly 4 cards at a time. It should let you more easily browse and control the order of the cards. I also think the menu should drop from top to bottom.
Keep working on the game, I look foward to it.
We're gonna need a bigger table!
