It'd be nice to see a feature where you could toggle whether or not you want to fight. I've died many times rum running because 3 or 4 ships start attacking me and my ship slows down because technically I'm in a "fight". What could happen is that if it's toggled you go faster but can return fire, if it's toggled off you can fire but go slower
For those of you still struggling to understand why you miss at 95% hit rating is because that isn't exactly the rate at which you hit. The way attacking goes is that you "roll" a 100-sided die and a RNG (random number generator) picks a number between 1 and 100. So say your hit rating is 95%, you attack and the RNG picks a number. If the number is anywhere from 1-95 you hit the target, if it is from 96-100 you miss. So technically whether you hit or not is all based on luck and is not necessarily a ratio and your hit rating just gives a better chance of hitting the target.
@uberpenguin Have you tried raising your artistry(sp?)? It has a large effect on your skill. At full smithing the Dwarven Axe was at 75% success rate and after a little art boosting it was 100%. I'm sure there are also items that are bugged or just simply cannot be brought to a whopping 100% success rate
I'm not sure if this is a glitch, as I heaven't completely raised all crafting, but the 3 recipes I have that land in the bottom right corner (Strategies of Timald, Magical Golden Carrot, Mystical Hairgrip) all have 0% chance, even the smithing item which I have lvl 1000 smithing
haha nice. Placed three fryboys on the wall and a subzero next to em, sent em up and he got stuck between the wall and the subzero so he kepts gettin sucked against the thing so the damae just went up to 2000. Great game 5/5
For those of you who are having a problem with using grenadiers vs. green jackets if you use the reset button (calender next to wave counter) enemies come closer, it was pretty much designed for that reason, you don't get stuck fighting units that are just outta range. Also, is it just me or do enemies just die after a period of time without being shot?
The "hard" levels are more like endurance levels. Sure you have to get through 40 waves but with the choke points that's not a problem. I think that if there is a future version there should be a harder endless mode, commander boss like battles, a bit better guidance system (why are engineers bothering with buildings that aren't in the way?) and maybe customizable upgrades that can be unlocked through achievements.
I know the game will probably be taken down soon but for the people who are having trouble with keyboard locks try jumping with the mouse and space bar a few times each, this usually prevents it for me
