Also, making the blocks around the golf ball cube go transparent would make seeing what you are doing a lot easier. Those are my only problems, other than the fact that the game was short (but there's a good reason for that ^-^)
There were some technical 'limitations' with that in this version. A.k.a. due to the time limit I coded it in such a way that this was not a possibility, and did not have the time to change this.
I will however look into this for the next version (and the next version will have 64 levels of sweet, sweet launching)
How about using the ASWD keys to rotate? I think it would make things simpler. Also, I have a feeling this is going to be the best Ludum Dare 24 entry.
Implementing the WASD as a feature for Go Back 2, thanks for the input :)
And we ended up 2nd (or so we think, Kongregate is being slow on this one), but thanks for the support, it's very much appreciated.
3/5 It was well-done and a great concept, but it's flawed. The melee weapons were too good so guns were not really needed until the ceiling hoards appeared. The game went too fast for the rpg-style game to work, so the rpg system was not really a big part of the game. Also supplies and extremely good weapons were easy to find. I know I'll play it again, but its just not the greatest thing.
