A lot less frustrating compared to the first Rebuild, or rather less reliant on luck thanks to no scouting and reclaiming deaths. Completed seriously hard in a typical city on my first playthrough without a problem. An improvement over the original in every way.
Beat the game in harder, gotta say was one of the more enjoyable games I've played in awhile. Just keep in mind: 1) Survivors train into soldiers in a garrison, 2) Expand towards the edge of the map and minimize zombie exposure, 3) Scout aggressively, recruit aggressively. By the time you get to let up, you've pretty much won. And 4) Winning by conquering every square doesn't work at harder. The zombie spawn outdid my relentless killing in the last square.
