If you click outside the game, like on a comment or on an ad or something, the buttons won't do anything in the game. Click the game again to "activate" it again. It's my only guess to what happened.
Sadly I can not play it. Whenver I start a game, the net "vanishes" directly after the "level 1" message fades out. Only the spider remains but doesnt do a thing ... the only things I can do is toggle sound & music on or off ;(
I have tested it with IE 7 (windows xp) and firefox (windows xp + fedora8 linux) and I updated flash. Nothing helped ... a pity because it seems to be a nice game,
