Nice game with some good fundamentals. Its a Roguelike game with random options for upgrades which keeps things from being too boring. However I would like to see an Adventure Mode in addition to the arenas. Go through a city trying to rescue people and escape.
I like how there are squads to unlock, however theyre scattered and what you are are unlocking is hidden so you dont know if you should spend a lot to unlock something that may not be better. This game has the upgrade tag but I cant actually find any. It would be very interesting to actually improve squads.
Followers are still bugged. I managed to get 100 followers through grinding to get enough gems. I had to buy them one-by-one which is another problem, but they keep going down. The main reason why I got followers is because several items require them. They dont increase the amount of resources I gain from anything and they dont raise the percentage completed in missions either. So followers are a scam.
Suggestion for the developers: Increase the money from everything. Its ridiculous that i am earning 100-500 money per fight but all the items by this point cost 10,000. The experience is also bugged as i need to grind for money but I keep leveling up and need new equipment every fews levels. I cant keep up. IS THIS GAME PAY-TO-WIN?
The worst missions are the ones where you have to fight on both sides. You have an AI-partner that sucks and cant use any of the upgraded weapons as well making them bad levels.
The system of followers is broken. You lose followers every day, so its like a pyramid scheme to get more. Also as usual for a Facebook type game, the timers all suck. This is actually a worse copy of Mafia Wars
The primary weapon performance is questionable. While its interesting to see recoil in a game, its also a major handicap when your have to fire as fast as possible and you have to do headshots to be effective. Like most unrealistic games, shotguns cant fire anything but pseudo-buckshot but unlike others they are quite weak. The higher level weapons take too many upgrades to be better than lower level ones so feel like downgrades. For example an upgraded Mac-10 is better than a plain ak-47(why not an m4?). Secondary weapons overshadow the primary ones. They have powerful effects and areas, while a guns just do damage and require headshots. The Buff upgrades dont feel as useful as they should and they require mission objectives to unlock. They offer minor improvements and one big one by throwing double grenades. Bosses are basically magical as they can use guns, spawn more enemies, or freeze you in slime.
Eventuallyhe difficulty of the game doesnt become great, but rather the screen is filled with objects. Enemies, projectiles, and pickups. Late missions are a chore just trying to sort out the mission stars among enemies. So this game eventually becomes a Bullet Hell. Thats also the point where there is nothing left to upgrade.
If this game is going to be ridiculously grind heavy and without player control during battles then there should be speedup buttons or just "finish battle" so you get your rewards. This is like an Idle Game without the ability to skip anything.
It is not a idle-clicker game. You dont destroying mouse by playing it. If you like it - consider trying steam version. Here - http://store.steampowered.com/app/439920
Here is a key for it - X5PZR-AVY0J-VXCK3
This game has too much grinding. You have to grind experience, gold, and random resources to combine into equipment for your heroes. for that matter the difference between heroes and the redshirts they command is too great. the red shirts dont get the improvements you work hard to give your heroes so you have to waste time upgrading 10+ heroes and their troops, and grind for tiny amounts of gold you need to upgrade everything. It get ridiculous quickly when you have to repeat missions alot of times just to get enough gold for one more redshirt for a tiny improvement to your overall army..
I like and dislike how parts you get early on are still useful later in the game. the second hull has the unique True Vision ability, and the second drill can double the money from drilling. Unfortunately this steals the thunder out of high level parts who have raw stats but lack some special abilities. True Vision would be very useful if there was a Special slot item that granted it so any hull could be useful.
The Bonus area is underwhelming as it solves the problem with gems being rare, but money is so low that you have to go back and grind the regular area anyways.
Also why are the mines, lasers, and nests of hostile giant insects anyway underground? Id like to have my own lasers thank you.
Would be really nice if the player characters could actually upgrade stats for accuracy, damage, ammo, health points, etc. Its silly how a machingun has only a few shots and a sniper rifle has a hard time hitting something at 5feet away.
This game is similar to another game on Berzerker. In this one you cannot manually place character stats so characters will often have severe weaknesses in accuracy or damage. Combat is far too reliant on special skills and there on no hotkeys for them. The enemy gets up to 15 people to fight against your 5 so battles end up as ridiculous endurance tests. Overall this game is a grindfest and I dont want to be bored with entertainment.
How is this any different from the last game? It has the same problems. Achievements should be a reward, not a requirement to unlock most of the game, weapons, power ups, and bonus levels.
This is a good game, but it becomes thoroughly boring after you unlock all the missions as upgrading equipment takes ridiculous amounts of money and grinding for hours.
Thanks! Great suggestions, we are considering about showing ALL the squads.. Thanks again for your feedback.
