I’m a university student at UTS, studying forensic chemistry. Despite what shows like CSI tell you, forensics isn’t nearly as interesting as it appears. Working in the lab is cool though, which is as much a social experience as actual work, since half the time is spent waiting for a machine to turn on, or hunting down a chemical or piece of glassware.
