Kind of an interesting game, but many of the features need to me edited. To start, there is no tutorial or introduction whatsoever. This means the player is just thrown in to a screen of text without knowledge of the currency, how the upgrade system works, or what they are seeing. At the moment the game isn't so complicated that the player can't figure it out, but I assume as you update it that may change. There are also few bugs I noticed. To start, when you press the cast button on spell 1 it works like autocast, the game keeps on trying to cast the spell, whether or not I have enough mana. Second, I think there is a bug in the bottom rank upgrade for mana. I couldn't figure out what it does. It doesn't seem to do anything at the moment. I also think the entire game could be sped up a bit. The start is quite slow and I would like to be able to jump into the game sooner rather than later. I hope you take these recommendations to heart and keep on building a great game.
A good start to a game. I like thew concept, but it could be more complex. At the momet the game is slow and extremely simple. I would recommend changing the cost to upgrade the gather rate. Right now there is a large amount of time that the player is unable to do anything at all because they are waiting to gather enough food. I would also add some sort of other task that can be done while the player is waiting to gather food, maybe some sort of competition with another colony or different types of ants to collect. Long term I would also recommend not using scratch to develop your game. Scratch tends to have glitches as game get more complex, which would hinder your ability to develop a long lasting and interesting game.
I hope you continue working on this game.
This looks like it could be very cool, but st the moment it is kind of basic. The mechanics seems to work fine, but there are many more details needed. I would start by adding labels for the currency you get when clicking. It would also be great if there was a currency per second or minute somewhere so I could see how much I am making. I would also like to be able to see what shop items I have bought. When I got the last of the shop items I was left with a green box that simply said buy at the top, instead of the more coming soon text that was at the end of the clicker shop items. I think its very cool that you made this in scratch, and I hope to see updates.
I would really like to see a merchant of sorts. maybe some kind of travelling merchant that comes after you get x amount of faries or another farm in the area that will sometimes sell you fertilizer. Any kind of occasional market that you could use to boost your gameplay would be a nice addition.
A good start to a game. I really liked the animations, especially how the clouds moved. Little details like that help a game come to life. I did notice that on the upgrade click power button the current wood per click was displaying an extra 0. I also noticed that both the delay upgrade and the axes were not cost effective, so I think they should both be edited. I would love to see more types of wood or different forests in the future. Good game. I hope you update soon.
A fun game, if not very complex. My brother had fun sending both a good and bad egg from the same chicken at the same time, so I could not catch the good egg without also catching the bad. I think adding a counter of good eggs you've missed would be helpful. I hope to see updates in the future.
The music is very loud. Suprisingly, the victory noise is even louder. To a fault.
Otherwise a enjoyable classic game.
(However, I do believe it is copyrighted as @Harperson mentioned)
This is a god start for a game. It feels a bit more like a concept than a fully fledged game.
It has the cute display of lives and the graphics are near perfect, but the controls are a bit floaty. Several times I rushed to click on a candy cane fast enough, only to have the present launched into a different basket.
The conveyor belt is my next major issue with the game. It simply moves too fast, especially in the beginning. I had to attempt the game several times before I was able to get more than 1 or 2 presents in the baskets.
A great start for a game. I'd love to see a patch or update in the near future!
Very cute. The objective was very simple, which I liked. It is a very good game to play if you have time to burn. It was clearly ,made on scratch , and the graphics weren't great, but I didn't mind. Good game.
I have many things to say about this game, so i will list them for you:
-My initial reaction was a cookie clicker rip off. The story was actually worse than the original (which has no story) and was very slow to start.
-I couldn't get myself to play more than 5 minuets of the game. Between all the popups, the constant flashing, and the annoying sound effects. It was very hard to play.
-The music was okay. It was likable, but not great. The sound effect for clicking was simply earsplitting. I tried to turn off just the sound effects, but there was no option to do so. I either had to leave the all of the sounds off, or leave them all on.
-The popups were horrific. I wish there were a way to disable them easily.
I generally really enjoy playing idle games, such as clicker heros and the original cookie clicker, but this one was unbearable. I recommend making some major changes in the next update.
The game is very short, the 4 scenes of graphics are constructed poorly and it left me feeling nothing. Two stars, only because there was not enough gameplay for me to hate it.
A good game.
Idle Photosynthesis is a good game, not great, but good. I enjoyed the overall ascetic and the music. I very much enjoyed reveling the different pictures on the map.
In the future I think it would be interesting if different types of plants were added, maybe as unlockables later in the game.
Overall, I think it is a great first update!
Ok, I'll release an update soon. It is a pity that the game is played so little ...
