Players start to time out when the timer reaches 0. You'll see players names turn gray if they are timed out. (They can get back in the game if they play, but it will skip waiting for them from then on.) When it reaches 0 in the answering phase, it switches to the judging phases and resets the timer. When the judging phase reaches 0, if the judge hasn't picked a card, it will choose one randomly and time out the judge.
For those here for the badge of the day: when it says something along the lines of "All I have left is my trusty wrench" click wrench until it changes to "gun". The achievement will unlock as soon as you start.
i played this a year ago with no lag and when i go to complete the beginners quest im glitching through walls, skipping frames, and the game even crashed on me.
