For a fervent admirer and player of your games, i'm a little appalled at myself for having not noticed the fourth chapter had been released for... what is it, four months and 13 days now? However, my anger dissipated as I began to play. It's such a marvelously crafted game, you know, with mysterious and sometimes funny interactions and wonderfully constructed puzzles that I couldn't help but smile as I went along. Although, I am a bit bummed that the ending was so sudden. With so much effort put into this beautiful series, i'm a little put out that it has ended in such a way that's just so abrupt, leaving so much to question.
You know... this game is one of few that have captured my attention well enough to actually make me think long and hard about it. I mean, what with the murder of Lily, Rick crashing his car into the hotel while he is IN the hotel, and that box which transports the user to a designated place in time, specifically ones in memory. I quite like this series, and I have a theory...but I am not yet certain. I hope that you will continue, and tell Hania Lee that her composing skills are the best I have heard. ;)
I thoroughly enjoyed this game, granted it's macabre ending. The story was a unique interpretation of the old grim tale of The Hunchback. Though it may not be considered a "game," more over as a digital book or interactive movie, it was a journey I shall not forget. You, my friend, have won this woman's appreciation!
Such a stunning platformer! The mysterious feel along with piecing the story-line together as you go made this a fun game. It became a bit annoying having to jump around and occasionally die and start over. If you ever decide to create another platformer using Stencyl, keep that in mind. Keep up the good work, man!
I've always loved the "DuckLife" series, and I have been excited about this sequel ever since I first heard it was going to release soon...until I actually played it. Although it has the same fundamentals as it's predecessors, the training and races leave something to be desired. I'm sorry sims, but if you expect your players to play and enjoy your game, you will have to do better.
Hmm...I think I have a theory. The principal or whatever he is said that there was an incident with a student last year, and there is a locker with the name scratched off. I think Dave was the student that killed himself last year because of bullying and all that and he follows our character around to probably help him and make sure he doesn't commit suicide or something? Just a theory.
It seams that we may have stopped for the Rabbit, but we're still descending down the rabbit hole, just as unaware of what will happen next as Alice first was...maybe Alice herself hasn't stopped tumbling as well, as this clever prose reveals that Alice is quite alive.
Oh my God, I love this game! This is the, uh, fiftieth time I have played this and I still haven't done everything! Plus, is it bad I created a whole monologue for the little spider-y creature?
My God, man! I've played the first one, and I've waited dearly for the Sequel, but I never expected such a beautifully done game! I mean, not to offend, but this one was so much better! The graphics, the self composed music, the quests; all superb! On a side note- While playing the first, I would listen to Edge of Glory (Nice fit, if I do say so myself.) but I found myself in a situation to where I couldn't even press the Mute button on this one! ;)
Will do, thanks for the comment and support! Stay cool man!
