Now that you mention it, I mostly agree with you mattieboy. The hand-to-hand combat is historically accurate, though. The problem with it isn't its existence, it's in the implementation.
I like the addition of hand-to-hand combat, and giving the Germans engineers of their own. However, said engineers and recon units are way to hard to kill and too powerful.
