Oh and btw, if u check the highscores there are tabs to see the maximum level reached for each player and whether they finished the game or not. Out of so many ppl I'm surprised to find out few of you can actually handle a basic brawler. Wow what's the avg age group on kong? GO TO OPTIONS and PICK "GRANPA" if the game is too difficult for ye. Thx :). If u like it dont forget to rate. Turns out the haters never do.
Oh well, the ratings says the game is not going to make it :P. Oh well I tried. Thank you all for playing though. The feedback is also pretty good, yet if it continues this way I won't get the chance for a much better sequel.
In case you still got comments about the graphics :/. I was initially thinking stick figures lol. This must be definitely a level beyond that don't u think :)? And in case it does good it will show the right people that this engine is worth a good load of expensive eye candy art for you to rumble with.
So addictive! I can't believe it. Seems simple yet it hides a lot of smarts... the levels don't seem pure random generated and this keeps wow-ing me. So much to play for :).
lots of work put in this game. I too wish it was optimized a bit. A BLIT engine can carry 1500 AI controlled instanced pretty smooth. Summoning peasants mass style with archers in the back wins the level too easily. Are there any AOE spells available for anti cheap mass? Should give this game another try.

About randomness... gah I used a bit of random velocity X and Y on the split asteroid function and I see "Complete Randomness" in a post. Obviously the guy didn't feel like giving it a second try. People have bad days :) and it seems like bashing on other's people work make them feel better.

The game's soon forgotten, stick with the asteroids/base defender/ (no randomness in there assured) or w/e makes your day. I see fun my way and I stand for what I believe in. Now I can only wish I gather the strength and AS3 knowledge I need to sequel this S$%T to a level 7+ difficulty only, tones of semi-bosses to fill the level time... boss adds, and only move-target array based maneuvering for enemies (Chopers in Sonic-Wings for example).

I built the game in such a way that it ain't too hard on noobs and that seems to be the major "flaw" that people complain about. They get bored and I am to blame.
Turns out most people never read descriptions in any games they play + some come from different backgrounds. Every developer should keep this in mind... those that don't read end up complaining about stuff they didn't read about :).
Yeah it's perma death I wanted a 1 coin 30 min fun, pure arcade style. It's also oriented towards fresh meat in the genre. At least the first 4 levels are.
If you think you're too good for it don't give up, 5+ won't disappoint. The visuals will change as well as you progress through the game.
Every 30k score you get an extra life. Can reach up to 8 or 9 extra lives and slam the scoring boards.
