When Kongregate thinks they're too cool to just link so they do base64 encoding, they should have done some real encryption and puzzles, kick this shit up into high gear. Anyways, about the game: why can't I kill my fellow space hams, what's the point of mitosis if I can't have a bloody war? Need those points man! Also the background is really nauseating to me. Other than that I enjoy it for the quick sort of game it is. The uh, tongue(?) animation is pretty cool.

I can't remember, I remember there was a numberlink game on kongregate that was similar concept. I guess it is a bit different from numberlink games in the way that each iteration determines the amount of blocks it occupies.
I love optimization puzzles like these. Gotta make that shit fit in. Loving how I can just hold mosue click and never let go, even when I make mistakes. It's a smooth implementation of a well known game, my only criticism is it doesn't bring anything new to the table, but it is very difficult.

Thanks for feedback (fellow competitor :) ). I thought I came up with this concept myself (like I try to with all my projects). I thought I played enough Nikoli puzzles and puzzle flash games to know my way around :). Which games use this mechanic? Could you give me some names? Because I have never seen this concept anywhere before.

Can't start the game on chrome or firefox. Tried clicking start, hitting enter, hitting arrow keys, hitting space, hitting escape, etc
Controls need a bit of work. If I push "up" and "right" too fast, the snake just eats itself rather than move up and halt input until the next cell is reached. Upgrades are cool, dance rabbits is pretty awesome, for instance.
Thanks for letting me know mate. I'm having trouble replicating it. Do you mean if the gap in time between pressing up and then right is very short this happens?
Upgrades upgrading ship is cool aesthetic, switching between ship and land fights is pretty cool, pretty nice. However the enemy ships seem to never change in variety nor do the enemies (it would be cool if each island had a "theme" of pirates, or really anything to distinguish one island from another, even if it was something like colour). The enemies on the island are way too easy to fight just by kiting them. It seemed like cannonball speed and cannonball fire-rate stats were interchanged in functionality. Screen has a lot of problems scrolling sometimes between islands or even when i'm on an island. looks like if I'm too far to the left or to the top it fails to scroll. I appreciate the cookie though.

Very nice and short game. That there are some swarmers that track you and some others that just do their own thing at their own time is nice. I know the theme was "30 seconds to" but maybe you could have (or if you plan on adding on, do now) put in an endless mode that happened after 30 seconds... it's just a 30 second minimum to reach the high scores. Just a thought.
Already working on it. I'll also even add a highscore for most time survived. :D
a purple veiny condom rises on the shore and turns into a meaty red sausage. Great. Images are blurry and jump is very twitchy. Nice use of environment though to progress the level based off your evolution, albeit the second stage seems kind of just thrown in as the attack is not fluid with the purple thing itself. Music doesn't loop, cuts off abruptly. Well, in the end I get to watch the purple veiny condom-pickle-thing get shot off into space by none other than a pointy-red rocket, so it's a pretty decent GiTD entry.
This was my first game, so a lot of the levels were trial-and-error, I'll fix that music issue as soon as I figure it out. Thanks for your comment!
I click new. Nothing happens. http://pasteboard.co/SEp4jmD.png
That was a compatibility issue with Chrome. It has since been fixed :) Are you using a browser other than Chrome?

I normally don't enjoy games centered around upgrading (especially flash games), but this is pretty good. Missile needs splashback damage though. I didn't play much, will have to play more when i get the time.

Too bad no actual programming though, this doesn't really belong in the programming category.
C++ at the top of the payroll. You know what's good ;)

Game is too easy. Beat the final boss my first try. Actually beat the boss before any of them attacked. Just went all strength, all speed and put all my stat points into the first attack so I could just spam that and stunlock the enemy. Upgrading equipment sucks because there's so many resources needed for each upgrade and you end up grinding for resources for quite awhile, and the bonus you get is never worth it. Its much faster to just spend that time grinding the arena for levels.

A carbon copy of your first game except somehow you managed to make the hitboxes even worst than they had previously been.
