Loved the game, until it bugged out after obtaining objective 22: lost offices; workers got stuck; elevators quit working; quit gaining cash; etc. The game basically froze.
Very anticlimactic ending. Moving throughout the environment is a special kind of torture, though one does get used to it over time. Only lost one pet throughout game play, but that was because I went afk in the midst of the game and left it unattended in hostile territory. The game isn't hard at all, just tedious. Grind, grind, grind.
The 60 second time limit for the whole game is annoying. Maybe make a mode where you have a limited time within each level to kill everyone off rather than limiting the entire game to only 60 seconds.
I like this game, a lot, but I do wish that the modes were all open on each map rather than having them unlock when you attain a certain level. I'm level 31 and having a hard time gaining enough xp to continue and I'm getting bored with redoing the same modes over and over again.
To delania: I beat level five by making only pure gomphuses (no combinations) and leveling them up as quickly as possible. In the upgrades menu, I had as many points pushed into "Increase Attack Damage" as possible and any points left over I put into "Earn Cash Over Time". Hope that helps.
I added the game to my favorites just so I can play the end song repeatedly! I enjoyed the game immensely also. I love tower defense style games though.
Small size is annoying. Would like to be able to rotate views around map, especially given the small size. Also, are there shortcut keys for upgrades and towers?
Too much dialog and the game does too much progressing on its own. It seems that most of the game interactions are just clicking through dialog, which then progresses the story line. There just isn't enough actual looking around and using objects, or even choosing what to ask the various other characters.
Too slow. Customers don't come in quickly enough, which leaves little opportunity for earning more than the bare minimum. The "music" is horrid. The old guy's head is constantly blocking his order, which makes it very difficult to tell what he wants.
