Not bad, though I feel like fire is the least useful power since you can't get rid of it afterwards. I mean, uncontrollable fire is at least thematically appropriate and does add to the need to be careful in its use, but the final level doesn't require it to win, which threw me off at first.

Okay, so, the game is nice. Nice enough that I made an account for the sole purpose of making a good and proper review of it. I like the flavor of it, the subtle but well considered gamut of various sci-fi concepts. I like the variety in actual game mechanics used by the sides, and the way that they can overlap to a degree. Normally, I dislike when turn based strategy games turn aggressively unfair on harder difficulty levels to increase the challenge, but here it kind of feels like a logical thing. The enemy starts with two resistance and three retaliation because their baseship is frankly better than my own, and I should adjust my tactics and armaments accordingly. I also approve of the whole concept of the laboratory and the ability to improve and refine cards through it: it gives a sense of progression to the game, even if a given improvement is something so simple as adding two hp to a base or ship. In short you have made a great game, and you have cause to be proud of it.
