Would it kill you to fix the chat tab in Redshift? it locking up gets old really fast. you either get stuck with it open or closed. If open it will always be in the way and cannot be minimized till you reload and if closed you will miss out on any chat since the only way to fix it is reloading the game which also removes an chat that might have been there.

Something else that needs looking into is Rifts. Got to wave 8 in a rift then your game crashed, which meant the ships I had destroyed while securing victory were lost in vain because of an annoying glitch that crashes the game during Rifts and I have to wait the repair time for nothing.

ok mr moderator- I have been having log in problems with wild west- the chat keeps trying to load-this last time was for 1o minutes, and the town never comes up- other times the chat wil work and if I go out of the room and do other chores and come back in 10 to 15 minutes I can view the town and play,however if I hit a request by another player- there I am again doing the wait game again? I have rebooted, cleared cookies/cach,until I am blue in the face? I am about to say good by to this game- I have suffered thru to get to 54 level- any suggestions will be most helpful- thanks from frustrated

I’m just breaking ground on a Master of Orion 2 remix which I was going to call Starfighter General. The idea why I’m doing this is that mobile is good for clicky click turn based stuff as you see with your game Redshift. With Starfighter General, I was going to have a Skinner Box to gain power as a homeworld, then the actual game would be like 8 player FFA with diplomacy and ladder ratings. I’d have it so with some of the planets you conquer could be mined for homeworld resources, like in your game: Cold matter for instance. But the main goal would be to conquer the galaxy.

There are two different ways you could approach this as adding to RedShift.

1) You could allow sending of an entire fleet to guard your first planet you control. Lets assume you get sent into a clone of Master of Orion 2 for visualization. So you start with one planet with a fleet. You could then split the fleet into pieces to go to different systems

2) The other way of doing it is that: The advantages you have to start with your first world are less pronounced, but still there.

You have the core Skinner Box kicking without an actual competitive multiplayer going for you. And that impresses me. I like playing the game to research skinner boxes, and the updates are welcome.

What I’d like to do is to write a server to play a Master of Orion 2 game. I was planning on making it like a card game for specials, where people want to collect a lot of cards (Makes virtual goods purchases get big time). Now my combat would have been like Magic the Gathering with cards, but I think we should use your ship combat system :) :) :)

Lets talk some more if you’re interested. The server is the hard part, once we have a server, we can skin the client anyway we want.

I really think the next step in these clash of clans games is true multiplayer maybe 8 people big, so people are making decisions in the game, over mindlessly clicking.
