We've just released an update for the game, that should fix the issues with progression and the challenges. If you're still having problems, please submit a ticket using either the Support button in the game or the Help and Support button at the top of the game window.
So not only is one of the weekly challenges to get the Mage Hand familiar with gems, which is not marked as complete even though i already had it beforehand, but it is now no longer possible to advance to the next area, leaving me stuck in the very first area indefinitely.
This update be glitchy.
