I liked this game for its challenge right up until Hyperion, where the game went from "Difficult" to "Inhuman". Managed to kill Hyperion after a billion tries, and then Atropos happened. Difficulty spikes WAY too sharply on those bosses, I'm amazed that anyone manages to beat either without putting in 30 hours of play time.
Good game at start, love the upgrade system and controls, ending difficulty ruined it. 3/5 from me.
I don't know what differences there are, but this game is almost unplayable for me, between the spikes of lag. And no, it's not my computer. This game ran perfectly smooth on Newgrounds. A pity, too, I really enjoy this game.
Not quite sure what it is, but there seems to be one heck of a bug, because saved games for me won't appear, and so I died, and lost all my progress. Even after clearing all my temp files and the like, this problem won't go away. Major flaw? I think so. 1/5.
Would be better if:
1) the between level gimmicks (level 5 and the final boss come to mind) were removed. The use of button mashing arrow keys and space in this game is like using scissors to stick two pieces of paper together
2) The game actually could respond to people who type faster than 2 WPM
3) the "bullet time" (whatever it was called) didn't glitch dead ninjas into still damaging the temple.

I used only the bow (oh my god, this weapon is overpowered) and chainsaw, gave all my other weapons to survivors. Not too bad. Traps were largely unnecessary, but hey, watching a zombie hit a landmine is fun!
It's been mentioned before, but if there were perhaps a few more songs, this game would be much better. However, that is not saying that it's bad in any manner. It's a nice challenge. Beautiful music, by the way.
This game and its prequel are both beautiful. While some of the differences were so absolutely minute that it took he a good amount of time to find them, it did give me time to admire it. Also, the animations were amazing. 10/10, 5 stars, and so on.
