Music gets repetitive fast, and the evenly spaced chunks of powerups lead a very jerky feel to the game. There's also a very slow moment where you realize you won't reach the next chunk and can't do anything about it.
Three suggestions:
1) Break up the chunks, so powerups are spaced randomly around the road.
2) Make the ship just jump between lanes, not glide around like it matters.
3) Since spacebar isn't doing anything now, make it a limited boost button. Maybe you get three boost injections, so the player can save themselves at the last moment and recover from a mistake.

3/5 The music is pretty, but repetitive and it feels like the hit boxes are too large. It's very easy to get hit without realizing it and suddenly find yourself overcrowded with enemies.
Pretty good concept, but needs some work. Controls aren't very responsive, so dodging and moving aren't really an option. Enemies appear too quickly to react to, and the functional difference between weapons isn't really clear. Why would I ever use the sword?
Work on this some more, and you might have something.
Pretty fun game. By about the third area of the game, though, it felt like enemies had too much health and healing ability. They weren't hard, just tedius becuase you have to hack at them for round after round.
Well, I successfully broke the game on Sandbox mode. On the map where you get attacked from top and bottom, I think I can say I beat it.
I had a fleet of dozens of garbage trucks, every green square farming, ever rock square mining, geothermals pumping out power, everything electric, and guns/lamps lining the wastelands.
When my energy wrapped over the thousands place, the game reset it to zero. Food and metal at least max out at 999 and don't go over.
