Let me start off by saying, AWESOME GAME!!! Always wanted to play a game like this :)
I only have one complaint. Whenever you reclaim a square, it seems that you will get all of the food (if any is in that square), but you wont get any survivors that are in the square. Maybe this is intentional, maybe not. But if this one thing was fixed, I would be absolutely 100% sold on this game. Currently, Im 99.9% sold ;)
Nice game dude! I enjoyed the mix of top-down shooter with the RPG elements. The graphics were fitting as a more old-style game, and for some reason, old-school games look just as good as high-def games (if done right, which your game is :D). If you definitely stick to your idea of expanding this game to be longer, have a storyline, quests, ect. this would be an awesome game! :D I look forward to the sequel! 4/5
