Thanks for making this. Nice to see someone getting bullet hell... not right, as such, but a very good attempt. Honestly, all I would ask for at this point is less grinding and fancier patterns to bullets. Again, thanks.
That said, the music will haunt me for weeks to come. So, you know, curse you for that.
Fireforce: Red is reload rate, green is bullet speed, blue is "special attribute", straight from the guide. In summary, get power-ups. Power-ups are good.
Nope, no music. There are sound effects and a brief bit of music on the log in menu. Oh, and the False God battles have some fairly neat music, but that's it.
Fantastic beyond anything I have words for. One of the best games on the site. Might have more to say once I finish the game.
Also: Am I the only one that can dodge bullets just fine but keeps getting hit due to trying to get more bullet scraper bonuses?
Fun game, and definitely challenging, if only after a long time. Three issues, though. Firstly, writing. It... needs help. Second, necromancy. The main character really isn't a necromancer by any stretch of imagination, so a fix there for the sequel would be nice.
All the characters also appear to have had their personality surgically removed and replaced with gorgonzola, but that's part of the writing. The gameplay and music are nice, anyway.
Any suggestions for act 16? I'm trying at the moment with heimdall and the tier 3 multipath (also tried beam) and have no luck at all. I gave the Valkyrie a try, but I never seem to live for more than a few seconds with that thing.
Fun little game, this. Too bad about the dialogue and such - I haven't seen this sort of Engrish since the EW series. In any case, I like it. Level 10 is rather harsh, though (on 13 now). here's hoping Spreadshot sees me through the rest of the game >_>
hm. Yep, easiest Impossible badge on the site, and the only one I actually have. Doesn't make it easy, but it should be a hard badge - not that I'm complaining about the extra 30 points.
I just had the luckiest game ever. Challenge 18: Open with Yog-Sothoth, dealing 32 damage and giving me Schizophrenia, and the opponent Xenophobia. Follow up with City of R'yleh the next turn and win. Incredibly lucky, that.
960k and a bit, and the API doesn't seem to be recording it. Pity. Not that I expect anyone to believe this, but still. Kinda surprising, as my last high score was 380k or so.
Exactly, Malek. It has 3 classes (two here) a well-thought out gameplay system, is the only RPG I've played to date - flash or otherwise - where combat didn't get old, and has a great soundtrack, not to mention full voice acting (a rarity in flash games). It may not be perfect, but it's the closest I've ever seen in a browser game.
Thanks. Still seems a little excessive, but I figured that might be it. Veradux's bolt was doing about 2600, after all.
Also, your teammates don't suck. Well, Felicity is pretty awful, but Veradux and Roald, while not as powerful as Sonny, are pretty decent if you keep them properly equipped.
I just critted one of the fire-whatevers with the hydra (using Shock Therapy) for 39692 damage. There's no real reason for it, as my average Shock Therapy hits for about 800. has this happened to anyone else?
@Thekiller55: It is, as 0vv0 said, Electro-Bolt from the first game. You can't get it, but if you're a Psychological, you can get Shock Therapy, which is actually quite a bit better. Also, Electron Charge has the same graphic, but isn't the same spell. Anyway, hope that helped.
