Fun but flawed. With updates and a little more thought applied this could be great. Good luck developer!Hopefully you figure this all out beforea 'competitor' does. :]
Great game, and something you can definitely build upon! Any number of game types could benefit from this, really. It's creative, fun and rewarding. If this game had very light and simple / turn based Sim City mechanics, I'd be addicted. Any number of genres could benefit from this mechanic even. Well done. :] I hope to see more of this.
No quality, no effort put into the making of this thing. It's not clever, there's no challenge, no humour, no nothing. Whoever made this didn't even try.
Wonderful game so far. My only disappointment though is that I saw the similarities between this and EVE, but I had hoped that this, a singleplayer game, wouldn't be as horribly slow. But it is, at least in the tutorial. First thing you're sent to do is click an asteroid, click a mining laser and twiddle your thumbs. -- I don't mean to be unfair with such a snap judgement, but you gotta remember that the first minutes of any game tend to set the tone and expectations of the player. That being said, I gave the game four stars, favourited it and I'm very genuinely enjoying it. :]
Excellent game. While the lasers you fire don't really feel powerful, you've done an excellent job making every hit that you score and every kill you earn feel great. Even with such a minimalistic approach to both graphics and sound, you still managed to make those kills feel really, really right. Good job. :]
Clumsy and unintuitive interface that takes a while to get used to; like crafting being labelled as 'merchant'? My biggest gripe though, besides the horrible, horrible 'gameplay', is the jarring difference between the at times wonderful art versus THE WORST sound I have heard in any flash game in ages. It's horrible. Zero quality anywhere. It's like they spent 90% of the budget on art, 9% on the actual game, and 1% on sound. Even the music demands that you OPEN A SECOND WINDOW.
Blatant Hammerfight ripoff, in playstyle and theme. The ship designs, the weapons, all of this is Hammerfight. To everyone else: if you like this game, check out Hammerfight - a full and MUCH better game.
I was stuck for a while on Ed Edd and Eddy because I spelled it with 'and' instead of just 'n'. Great nostalgia though - especially happy with the soundclips. I found myself humming and singing the theme songs to many of these. Only got 41 but I blame that on being a foreigner. 8)
Yeah, I think that confused a few people. I went with the version Wikipedia gave me, since that's what people would find through Googling for it :)
