@3ste40 - Easiest way to have this game taken down is to convince people to give it a 1 or 2 star rating. At that point, the system will auto-delist it. Oh wait...that's not going to happen because many like this game.
What a rip! If you're trying t get the 50 waves with <11 deaths, getting the crate that reduces number of enemies makes it harder becuase it resets the wave counter!!
Not really a unique concept. My kids play this on the Webkinz site under the name 'Cash Cow' Of course there it's milk bottles, not gems...but same game.
Also, some of the bullet holes are in the wrong scenery layer. When I pan, some of the holes move back and forth across the background where most of the bullet holes are at. Other than that, interesting game...well done.
Yep. Text looks much better now. I'll have to agree....'F' as fire kinda stinks. Make it the enter key or anything on the right side of the keyboard. Really, you're better off making it the space bar and having something else trigger the special weapon.
I think you forgot to correctly embed the fonts/characters used in the text on your opening screen. The buttons say 'PLA' and 'INSTRUCTI' and the title says 'SHO Enhanc' Your name also doesn't appear after 'Shootorials project by...'
@nikitarama: You must have missed a part from a previous tutorial. You're supposed to put if(_visible == true){} around all of the code in the Ship class' onEnterFrame function. This prevents the ship from doing anything and keeps everything from spawning when the ship is dead.
Folks, make sure that when you copy/paste code from the shootorials that you must delete/overwrite functions from your program! You can't have two onEnterFrame functions in the same class for instance. CHECK YOUR COMPILER ERROR WINDOW!
