I think some kind of screen briefly explaining the interface more clearly once you start your first flight would be quite helpful. It took me a while to understand the threat, charge, life, and combo systems. The gameplay is enjoyable but it seems like it could turn into a major grind session. Right now I'm on the 8th upgrade and my scores haven't gotten much better. Overall, if there is an objective other than getting the highest score possible, I think the progression should be a little faster/easier.
Not a bad game, it has some qualities that I like more than others in its category. For example, the little animations while doing missions are nice. What I don't like, however, is how brutally overpowered the premium equipment is. I got into a battle with another guy the same level as me (3), and he killed me and my mercenary in one shot each and none of my shots did anything. That's a little ridiculous if you ask me.
Hey CoolCat7, you're not the only one that feels this way about the premium equipment. We're taking note of these thoughts! Regarding the animations comment, I'll be sure to pass your comments along to our art team!
It just occurred to me that I haven't been retaining any of the gold or rubies that I have been winning from battles. At first they are counted and go into storage on the battle screen, but then when I go to heal my pets it returns to the amount I had before the battle.
If there isn't any already, I think some sort of award for the amount of stars you get in the campaign would be nice. Even if it's just an achievement or something, I see no motivation to get three stars on each level.
CoolCat7, there most definitely is achievements regarding campaign progression! Click on Darius (the Viking looking guy in the bottom left hand corner) for a list of achievements and their respective rewards! Best of luck!!! :)
Huzzah, the ending song has returned to us! Another fun game, 5/5. Didn't find any bugs to report. I had some trouble getting the golden scarab rating on the sun emperor level because of the 3rd offensive upgrade. If I shot the scarabs to get coins cat god died too quickly so I ended up having to avoid them and barely accumulated enough by waiting.
Anyone else notice that the enemies have PERFECT reaction time? Like when a box appears they can grab it before I even see it? Or how they can shield anything you throw at them unless they are using a weapon?
Helpful tip: If you have equipment that creates an ally, you can switch equipment after summoning it and it will still be there for that extra boost! Hope this helps!
In response to tiamat12, There is and ipod game identical to this called "Mr. Space" if you happen to have one. The game is free so rate this up to inform others of it!
I played this game last week or so when it came out, and I was thinking: Woohoo! Platinum! That ought to be a few points when badges come out! Well, badges are out. You have to beat it in 25 days or less. I beat it in 26. >.<. WHY? Why not just 30 like the game says? Thumbs up if you agree.
I don't know if this is the same for everyone else, but for platinum you need to get rogues, because those traps are killer. Also, later in ther game, you want to use as many "At _% health this adventurer will be teleported back to the town" items. It usually sves them from dieing, and the rest of the adventurers get to keep going. Hope this helps! ^^
Did anyone else notice that if you add chaos with anything it never works but you can get chaos by adding nuclear bomb to war? Doesn't sound very much like an element to start with if you ask me...
The game is intuitive enough that the initial 4 line explanation should be fine... unless you missed that. XD
