there's a lot of cool and charming things about this game, but a really big flaw for me is the sound quality. Shitty sound quality like this really disallows you from having a proper experience playing the game
the hard mode is a bit easy... After dying a few times and learning the ropes I sped through all the levels I did rushing waves, fast forward and being inefficient like crazy. Got 3 stars on levels and had no challenge whatsoever, did a variety of builds too.
some of the game music is amazing! I'm completely in love with the suspense track of bat fort/tunnel etc. Is there any way we could get it on Grooveshark? I already listen to nifty game music like Terraria's there.
I got stuck after the lights boss... 5 keys and lots of upgrades, but no way to cross over the two lava pools which are the only new spots I've found *dizzy*
last boss is easy. It's good to encourage some use of strategy.
if you play a longer while the animations tend to slow the game down too much. An option for speedier, less interrupted play would be nice for longer sessions
Most powerful farm: Do hard/epic "Stop the bigbang" multiple times. I had pretty lousy troops on my first epic run, but I used summon epic tower turret and dwarven hero to kill bombs and established an offensive troupe to take the castle out. 200k earnt with +100% gold gain.
Quickest possible early game and establishment: Upgrade comet shot first and mount it. After lvl2 enable Phantoms and add them. Run lvl2 two times more to upgrade goblins twice - now being level 3. Assault at once on level 3 and shoot comets to disable Phantom Ghosts(at this stage arrows aren't an issue.) You should win the scenario before the blue knight spawns. Now you can farm lvl3 a few times or move on to lvl4 and there are a number of options available - such as Gate -> Mighty Guardian or upgrades or new heroes and their additions ^^
great metroidlike game! ^^ Only problem was that when I finally got up from the green background bottom area I managed to jump out from the game platform and fall into a great darkness TT
