Assassins and ninjas need to be smacked with the nerf-stick. The ninja champions (like in the "Hydra" level) are just obscene.
give us effective counters to the assassin's %50 miss ability (which turns a game that is supposed to be about strategy into pure dumb luck at times) and slow down the ninja champions (SERIOUSLY) or give us some kind of "reveal" ability.
It's not perfect, but I still think it's awesome. Kinda difficult to get into, and you initially get overwhelmed by all the things the game is telling you, but once you settle in it's great.
I expected it to be horrible. I was pleasantly surprised. Hardly groundbreaking in terms of gameplay, but still decent, and the obvious tongue in cheek premise amused me somewhat.
I like this game a lot, but it's really annoying trying to figure out what the numbers for damage, reload time and accuracy mean, if ANYTHING. Without HP counters on enemy units, it's just "hose them down with bullets 'til they fall down".
Also: I can safely assure you that the shotgun is the only weapon you will EVER need. With all the perks it is mindbogglingly effective against groups of zombies. Honorable mention to the grenade launcher, which does a pretty good job of room-clearing at close range.
Very fun for a decent amount of time. really pretty easy though, especially compared to something like Amorphous+ (which is STUPIDLY difficult, but still fun).
Originally voted a 4, decided to knock it down a star. It's reasonably entertaining, but grindy, and is basically the same old Protector gameplay. The heroes add little IMO (and I have my doubts about their buffs even being functional).
It's not bad, but hardly great.
