Is there any way to save your progress?

This is an exelent game, but i would sure like to get better input, for example, if i select to attack an enemy i can't, i would love to see why i can't attack him (behind a wall, out of turn, etc). As it is i think only ppl familiar with this style of games will find it entertaining.
