https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jradoff/kingdom-ascent If the developers reach their goal, GOTA will live on as Kingdom Ascent. You need to send a ticket to DB to port your character over to the DB site. From there, you'll be able to keep progress in the new KA. Upvote to keep visible.
I had to stare at green balloons (magical sheep farts?) disappearing into a sky queue waaay too long before I figured out I had to drop things on the egg. That said, great job! I do like that you can change princess abilities.
Loved the game, especially the retro feel. (*Starts game. Tries to steal everything not nailed down.*) The aesthetic reminded me of Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, and Link (with puzzles and exploration instead of endless random encounters).
Who needs six infinity gems when you have two infinity turtles? Yes, yes, bounce forever with that spring and laser my two little pretties, all the way up to 10k!
New bug. Arrgh! I can't raise dragons. No flying armor for me. Raising worked before updates. Tried with them in inventory, equipped, and in storehouse. Baby/young dragons stay grayed-out. The screen says I lack ingredients, even though I have them all.
I've seen this all before. The game is using every trick in the book to get people hooked and milk them for money. Many games do this. Doesn't make it right. I was actually somewhat intrigued by a fishing game. I don't mind supporting games I like or that have interesting ideas. This goes too far in trying to exploit players to make money. No, thank you.
I love the game! Is there a way to fish in this version? If not, I'll just equip my fishing rod and wave it around to impress the wild piggies trapped behind the fence.
I remember playing this game ages ago. The "revive" feature that let you get back into the fight after a KO worked back then. Not sure what happened, but I wish someone would fix the bug . This really is a hilarious, awesome game.
Part I took a little while, but figured it out. Well, to get into the sub I just systematically guessed until I found something that worked. Part II? Set the coordinates aaaaand... go completely stuck.
Hint for the Sub.
Stick the gem in the engine (number dial).
I like the game. Points for creativity behind the story. Would it be possible to see game statistics (for example number of universes unfolded, time played, grand total systems included, etc.)?
I like the game. N/E/W expansion would be cool. The 100% resource refund is nice. No overlapping cables/roads was frustrating at first, but there is a puzzle element to this game that I've come to appreciate. To be blunt, the energy emitter is cool but useless. I'd love to see you do more with this game.
Hilarious. A fun take on the old "Ski Free." I haven't seen that game in ages. Don't suppose you could put a yeti in there somewhere if you still read comments on this old game, Mr. Developer.
This is not a game but it is interesting, certainly from a disease outbreak/emergency response standpoint. I just noticed the date, so not sure if the game is supported, but I'd like to see an ability to adjust "clustering." Real people tend to congregate in groups for work/entertainment/living rather than wandering aimlessly. Also, huh, turns out Zombies don't do very well if they start in a small group and can't quickly infect.
Oh yeah, it's also nice for a change to have a game that offers instructions, but doesn't spoon-feed you every step of the way. It doesn't pat you on the back for just pressing a few keys. Means there's a learning curve. If it turns out there is method to the madness, that would work for me.
Thank you :)
