Yeah I've tried numerous combinations of Ice/Divine, and it doesn't even come close to Fire/Divine. As well the area-effect Fire/Ice attacks (Blizzard/Armageddon) take too much mana for the targets they actually hit/damage.
The Survivor level is basically a fight for mana, do a couple Blizz's or Armageddon to try and catch up - your mana drains out and since you need to constantly fire to take out opponents you'll never get it back up again.
Still 5/5, but would love to see some re-balancing.
@tiri23: Suppose that's one way to 'win'. I got pretty close with an IceMage/Divine. Finally got the Hard badge with a 14/14 FireMage/Divine. Fire: 3/0/4/1/2/0/0/1/3 & Divine: 3/0/3/2/0/2/0/1/3/0/2 -- I generally take the Smite spell (2/1 or 3/1) -- this last time through I forgot to, but still was able to select it (not sure which combination of spells caused that 'bug'). I put no points into "Miracle Healing", in fact I don't use that spell at all. The area-effect spell is Judgement, although I don't increase it's damage with "Empowered Judgement". I suppose if I had healing I might be able to get beyond ~630sec, but I find it pointless to try and pause the game in the middle of chaos to swap spells so I can cast it.
Straight up boring compared to Cursed Treasure. Interface is very poor for an Armor Game: Pop-Up dialogs almost cover the whole screen and almost every GUI item seems to have a pop-up/info-tip.
Interesting game, but just a bit too boring. Little to do but choose which wall to place your small company of soldiers. Points are acquired so slowly that buying more units takes a very long time: 4 or 5 rounds before you can even acquire a machine gun. Also appears to be some bugs (aside from the ones you kill). After one round where I lost 4 towers and a wall... then rebuilt the towers and wall (bought a new machine gun) there was a flying insect round. The summary for that round deducted points for losing units towers and walls (again) when it never happened.
Interesting game. Characters walk around far too slowly/klunkily - especially during combat. Decent attention to detail and overall good interface. Inability to sleep/rest at the INN ruins it for me, if that was possible, then one might be able to overlook the PAYPAL merchant.
