(2/2) It really banks on the "Free to play" model that has gained more and more popularity but what devs need to realize is you get more flies with honey. What I mean is by making pc gear so expensive(in comparison) you scare away a lot of potential customers. You might make more money from individual transactions but if you lowered prices you would get more customers and thus more profit. It's pretty simple to understand. People like me for example, I'm a collector at heart. I love pokemon games and games where I can "collect" things. I would like to eventually have every in game item in this game but that is just not a possibility unless I plan On spending over $100 or get very lucky, so it is just not as appealing to me. Nice try but maybe you will do better next time.
(1/1)Alright so I'm finally ready to give this game a real review. First off I've played through to level 100 and engaged in most of the activities this game has to offer. The story is alright the pvp is a little unsatisfying, the raids are pretty fun and the guilds can be fun aswell. All that being said my rating for this game is 3.5 /5, it has a lot of potential but right now there isn't much to make it stand out from other games in the genre in my opinion.
As it has been said many times. Upgrades are too expensive, however I realize the reason is the developer wants money. That is why there is the cash option to get skullies. So don't bother complaining because the upgrades are intentionally inflated so that you will get frustrated and hopefully hand over some money. Very unclassy tactic but whatever.
Really liked the game. Short and sweet. The boss wasn't too difficult but I thought it fit perfectly. He should be easy if you have all the upgrades, just like all the other things in the game. That was the feeling I got from the game anyway. Also the "gun" was very satisfying. Not sure if it's the sound effect from it or what but it was well executed.
Once upon a time there were games like this online that you could play. They used an "energy" system and they could be fun but there was no option to pay for more energy so it was fair. That was 7 or 8 years ago. Now the trend is becoming more and more "pay if you want any fun in this game, if not it is free but you only get to play for a few minutes." Which is fine I suppose but really not the game for me, I come to Kong for free entertainment and to kill time. I don't mind the ads and I think the tip system is great, but I'm not in the mood to pay for poorly designed games such as this.
Here's a tip for any of you having trouble beating this game. Use the pause button for everything. In battle, pause then line up your shots then unpause and fire away. Rinse and repeat. Building your castle pause get your piece in a suitable position then unpause and place, quickly pause again and repeat. With this method you can easily get an income of 500 by the end of the first build phase. Hope it helps.
I liked it. I think this game has a lot of potential. First of all I think you need a bit more in-game instructions, I made it to the 100 meteor mark before knowing I was supposed to protect the dinosaurs and not the planet. Second off I think you need to be able to choose which upgrades you want or which dinosaurs if you want this game to be taken more seriously.
I don't normally comment but I've played a lot of flash games in my time. I decided I would comment and let you know I enjoyed this game quite a bit and thought there were a lot a really well executed ideas in it. From the "Play this game button" To the "See what others answered hint." Just a good solid game. Some of the questions were a bit easy due to the pictures but that doesn't really detract from the game, just makes it playable for a wider audience. After playing this a bit more I will definately have to go look at your other work. :D
There are a lot of comments I see about balance issues but to me the game isn't that bad. It seems to me it's actually super balanced because you can win by focusing on pretty much any of the characters. You can focus on just the mage or just the knight. You can focus on just the king or just the ranger. The only one that would be difficult to win by focusing primarily on seems to be the priestess. To me that equates to a balanced game, however it does mean you don't have to rely so much on teamwork.
First try took me 180 days but I think there should be an option to make it harder. I'm currently playing it again to see if I can get all the upgrades maxed out.
Thank you very much!
