Ok Jeff Allen, did that feel good? Are you done now? Nobody is forcing you to get all badges on a free browser games website and the fact that your panties get tangled up that much about getting a badge on a game you don't like is very sad.
As others have experienced, I'm having issues with keyboard imputs getting stuck. I have to "spin around" in order to make it reset, which isn't ideal in heavenly mode.
I'm not too sure what makes this game that good in my eyes that I felt compelled to come here today, even though I finished it yesterday in one sitting. First off, the music is awesome. I started playing this in class and obviously had it on mute, and when I arrived at my apt and put the song on, the game sucked me in even more. I felt "in" the game, like when I read a good book. The game has this underlying way to involve you as a person (not as a player). Even character you disliked at first come to grow on you and it makes you think, depending on what you hold dear. Playing this game with a open mind, you'll find yourself pondering about philosophical issues and think about your own life, and how you live it. The only thing I didn't like is how, at the end of the 3rd segment, the café song would still be cozzy and the conversations would be relaxed. I don't know if I'd like a sequel, as this story is pretty well tied up, but I know I want another game of the like!
I investigated some and realized that this is your first game. This is also one of the funnest game I've played lately. Not only is it fun, but it's pretty well thought-out. I can't wait to see your work when you add experience to your skills. I'm convinced that you could rake-up monthly prizes.
Looking forward to your other submissions, but for the time being, I need a diamond medal on each mission.
Allow me to kill myself, I just got sucked into a crack and I would very much like to go on my merry way. Excellent game otherwise, only thing I'd like is more bosses!
....uhh... yeah, or, you know, instead of it being "symbolism" on their part, it could just be that, shadows, in real life, are also affected by where you stand.
Okay I've been trying to complete the "Very Hard" mission for like 1 hour and I gotta call something about the defecation of a bovine. Each time I try to do it, I destroy a kind of ship in 5 secs... only to find out I'm 1v1 against a ship of the same kind... and its HP won't bulge. No matter the ship and the secondary weapon, the bar is stuck. Frustrating, to say the least.
Especially since I went through the, I dare say, effort (and not because the game is hard) to see what the final mission was going to be like.
KhanhN1: It's not weird, games with 4+ gets badges, badges give them more exposure, more people vote on them.
You're more likely to vote high on a game you were searching for, rather than a game you stumbled upon.
Make it so I can skip the bonuses I get from training. It takes me longer to see the Power + 3 than pushing the boulder. Same thing for the results from a fight. Couldn't we just click and skip the "scale rolls around" animation?
I'm still playing this game even though I've finished it but I do have some issues with it:
If I'm able to beat lvl 49 monsters when being lvl 20, shouldn't I get the exp I deserve? Grinding lvl 20 monsters gets annoying. Also, I like the idea of being able to customize your characters to an extent, but healers get useless ( I was hoping that Holy Light was a damaging spell) and fighters are useless all around, save for omnislash... while my Reuben-Mage whooped the floor all game long with 1 hit kills.
And.. that's pretty much it, the cut-scenes were welcome and entertaining, I liked the whole 50 lvls of a cave of evil, à la Diablo, the customization and, well, pretty much anything except the balance between classes!
Looking forward to other submissions.
