I get an error message and the game will no longer load for me.

Even with English selected not everything is in English.

I just now read the description for the Band of Darkness, that was a very nice touch added to this game.

I think this developer must enjoy screwing people over. Why else would they take away the perks of level 15, or make those perks a necessity to begin with?

I'm running into a glitch where I get near the exit and everything but the background disappears. I know my character is there and so are the enemies, because they killed me when I couldn't see them...

Getting the secret on level one isn't that difficult. Just go left instead of right and you'll find a hole in the wall.

For the mute button to work it seems you must first begin a game.
