With all the Idle games around here (and there are an annoying amount) I have no reason to ever return to this one which didn't save 3 hours of first time progress. 1 star, which won't be reevaluated due to the obscene number of idle games to choose from.
Love it! Been looking forward to it forever. Just ONE problem, and it's relatively minor (and I say relatively minor only not to say, "HOLY CRAP, WTF WHY NOT?!?"). My command stations don't seem to cover any of the "collector" real estate that's under them. -_- (s my disappointed face)
DEFINITELY prefer my Assault Carrier to have 7/7 modules. Seems as long as I don't remove one, I'm ok, but as soon as I get a static module upgrade, I'm hosed. Why the limitation on the static modules, and what do you mean by stackable?
i will beef them up again, i think the game as a whole needs a bit of speeding up :) ill set the defaults to higher, and allow you to adjust in the galaxy editor to suit your play style.
I will pay you a handsome sum for version 2. ;P For now, is there still a way to just throw kreds at you through kong? And if I do so, does that translate to money for you?
i will be releasing this version for DL on win, mac, linux for a $5 donation towards version 2, ill post the link when its ready. ive yet to do kreds on here, ill try and figure it out.
For those looking for a "fast forward".... Isn't that what the afterburner is for? I think it's kinda cool that you have to choose between speed and firepower. Maybe that's just me?
Everything is coming along BEAUTIFULLY. One last really nice touch if you think it could be possible, Momo, would be to model the individual weapons and systems, like engine, hull, and shield generators and make them visible on each vessel. Would be an immense task if it's even possible with the engine you've developed here (If anyone can do it, it's you.). Might even require further restrictions for which upgrades fit on which ships, but it would REALLY set off the overall feel of realism, customization, and upgrading.
Awesome game by the way. More than I have ever expected from an independent source. That being said, the one thing I think I REALLY need in this game is the ability to travel between star systems which have already been cleared of pirates without going gate to gate through 9 systems to get there. Click me there from the zoomed out map?
Where do I go to trade a bit of dev support for a full version with more upgrades, ship classes, and star systems to explore? (and perhaps a little expansion on the story) >.>
Just a heads up for those of you who haven't already figured it out... In the description, it says that chapter 3 is also now available at their website TheLastDoor.com.
Seems like a good start on the realization of a twist to a classic concept, but it's lacking upgrades, progress, story, pretty much everything beyond the concept.
You don't get the gold from Silver Chests if you crash when you're opening them, and we're working on that. But you should have it otherwise.
