I was thoroughly enjoying this game until I accidentally trashed a dog. The Trash button is WAY too close to the Next button in the build station. You should either have to drag the dog to the trash, or should have an "are you sure?" confirmation.
Wonderful game, though I agree about the "save puzzle" feature.
@AlecA2 - If you are guessing then you are doing it wrong. Every one of these puzzles can be solved through pure deduction. I solved all of them without guessing, but then I've been doing nonograms for more years than I care to count. Learn the skills and you'll find the puzzle much more enjoyable.
@lokilotus I had trouble with level 5 as well until I stopped taking the direct route. Hint - blue first. PS And what is wrong with people that they would rate down a request for help???
I wish we could play music over a network rather than on the local computer. I keep all my music on a central server on my home network and I have to copy songs over to my gaming machine to do this. Another nice feature would be a progress bar since I don't always remember how long a song is and it would be great to know how close I am to the end.
I love the security camera concept. It gives a great atmosphere to the game. However combining that skewed perspective with a game which requires precision movements is just frustrating. In particular, you sometimes switch cameras at moments I NEED to be watching her carefully. Add to that no visible storyline, and the game becomes a good idea executed poorly. Take the security camera viewpoint and use it in a puzzle-oriented, story-heavy adventure and you'd have a winner.
I finished the first area, took the boat to the second island. Decided this would be a good place to quit.
I returned today and I'm in the starting room. Um, OK. I walked down to the docks and as I face zombies, I realized my A, S and D keys are unmapped. Annoying. So I remapped them, killed the zombies, got down to the docks and there was the guy in the boat. But he won't do anything. I jumped in the boat, hit Shift a thousand times, ran, jumped, attacked, etc. and nothing. Stuck. Game over.
@kensteirno There is no sell unit button. This is a hallmark of all the Protector games. The developer has said this encourages players to think about placement rather than just spamming units. Of course it also penalizes clumsy people like me who misclick from time to time.
