I ran into the apprentice on week 2. *shakes head*
At least I managed to put a lake between us. I encountered him half an hour ago, and my two mana scholars (at like, level 2) are still pinging at him. At least there isn't a time limit for fights.

May I offer a suggestion? The timers (in the later levels, at least) seem to add an artificial difficulty to the game. They seem like one of many fail conditions that the player must juggle, and I believe the game is difficult enough without the timer. I understand that you want the player to feel rushed, but there is already a fail condition in place to make sure the player moves quickly--after all, backing up traffic meant that the player wasn't moving quickly enough. Having two separate timers increases anxiety and frustration with the game, and I've quit playing on several separate occasions in order to calm down. I'll admit that I don't particularly like this game, but that is because it feels like the player is being set up to fail.
I liked it! A short work, but definitely worth playing. I did find the warehouse door a little tricky, but that was the only point I had difficulty with. I enjoy the Hood series, and this is already another favorite!
