Reset button does not seem to work, as whenever I reload the page it just returns to its original state

Is anyone else running into the issue that the heat present in the exchangers varys wildly? Like every couple of ticks the amount within them just triples or quadruples and then goes back normal? Its causing me to need way more heat management then is actually necessary

I don't know why, but for me the game lags every time I press anything
