By the way, if you'd like to get a bit more xp in your battles, click the 'accessibility' tab in options. You can change how much you get per battle from about 50%-300%, as well as speed options. One small flaw though: even 400% battle speed feels a bit too slow... but that's as to be expected with TD.
Great game. I gotta say, though... from about the halfway point on, I started feeling like a complete dummy because the solutions I thought of were either just barely off or completely wrong. And other than somewhat biased hit detection, I had a lot of fun working through things. 4/5
496 deaths, 40/40 treasure chests. Hard game, but still doesn't really compare to Moneyseize or Meat Boy Map Pack in terms of frustration and anger. Good stuff though. 4/5
Gives me slight pangs for Breath of Fire. The random dungeons kinda blow, if only because they give it the feel of a 'Mystery Dungeon' game, and those bring back bad memories. (Tao's Adventure *shudder*, PMD... ya know.)
That's just kinda a brief outlook early on, I'll get a more full review up once I get further.
It's a fun little diversion, however the lunchboxes and cookies shouldn't cost less HP to make than what they restore. It's like having an infinite HP cheat without having to cheat. Also, cap the HP per day at like 100 or something, or make a limit on how many boxes/cookies you can carry.
I have actually never seen the movie :D thanks for the info.
