Besides staring at the badge description that blatantly gives it away, there are several places where the correct palace statue order can be found visually, as well as audibly.
If you spam clicking and spacebar right as you finish a level, you can skip multiple levels. I only had to beat 5 levels from start to finish. If the devs see this, something to fix.
My mousepad was trolling me... It was all "Hey, you remember that lone crumb that you dropped while eating a sandwich yesterday? WELL I FOUND IT. Here, let me slow down your mouse just enough to make you crash on this turn for you."
I've seen several people comment on the lack of customized controls, which is completely unfounded and untrue. If you hit spacebar, it will bring up the menu, then go to settings to customize battle controls. While I would say this game has some problems, no customized controls is not one of them.
I think there needs to be a fix to the accuracy. I had one battle where we exchanged so many misses that I was able to go fix a sandwich and smoothie, come back and the battle was still going. Aside from that, enjoyable game. 4/5 from me.
This game combines every single frustrating, head-bashing, keyboard slamming, monitor smashing, hissy-fit inducing aspect of Tetris and Perfect Balance. Lord help us.
A helpful tip, for those who may not know: when an enemy hero comes onto the battlefield, play pauses temporarily (you'll see the "skip" button) While the battle is paused, you can still use queue spells though, and they will initiate casting when you press skip. You can use this tactic to line up blizzard and meteor on the heroes to take them out much faster.
stage 25 took me like 7 tries... just hit the switch while you jump down, then time the second set of spike balls, and drop down in front of the third set. If you start running the second the balls start to go back up, you can finish the level easily.
On level 24, I dropped the cat and it got impaled on one of the spinny things, and then got stuck in an infinite loop of sliding from end to end... weird o.O
I love how when a royal is standing on a platform, if it moves just the slightest bit, their chest explodes in a display of gratuitous gore.
It's incredibly gratifying.
Good god, I may never eat ice cream the same way again. I'll be hesitant and... oh, who am I kidding... I'll still devour it like a zombie devours a brain.
These controls are ridiculously horrid. Actions like walljumping are made much harder than they need to be thanks to unresponsive controls. This game had so much potential, but now I'm having a hard time seeing past it.
A suggestion I have would be to provide the option of "hardcore mode" or something, where the player is unable to pause the game while moving/buying/destroying towers, to increase the difficulty greatly :) Many of the stages, especially the bosses, where easier than they needed to be because of this. I appreciate the feature, but it would also be nice to see the option of disabling it :) Thanks for another great one nerdook! :)
I find this to be a truly inventive TD game. Not only do you need to worry about which way the towers are shooting, but you have a character who can assist in demonic destruction. I'm also extremely happy with the fact that destroying a block doesn't cost money, and you get 100% of the investment back. For many of the boss levels, I was moving towers around like crazy, and that was really making a difference. It allowed me to implement a strategy with very little starting cost. Bravo for creativity on this one! 5/5 Looking forward to seeing the badges :) Hopefully there's one for survival mode ;)
