Well, it was interesting enough to get me to try out every sequence of choices. Nicely animated, but some of the methods to get back to the seed seemed a bit forced and out of place, which is saying a lot considering how weird the rest of the sequences are.
I wonder if I should go see a psychiatrist, because I've had a very similar dream a few times recently. I'm on a tower about a mile away from a JB concert and I snipe his face off. This game made me jizz my pants. 5 stars. 5 damned stars. I don't care if it plays like one of those silly banner games, it's awesome.
I rather enjoyed this game. I disagree about the mute button, though. I found the sound effects to be quite amazing and it was a treat to listen to them. Anyway, I found it amusing that you made Level X look impossible but... heh. I won't spoil it.
Actually, I found a better way to fight the nightmare boss. Chill for this, you will need Hardy, Regen, Double Jump, Dash, Max Heal, Jump, and Fortitude. When you dash into a wall, you will get stunned, and then go invulnerable. Every time the nightmare starts slashing at you, dash into a wall, go invulnerable, and lure the boss under its meteors. It takes a while, but you get used to it.
I was looking through the comments to see if anyone responded to my comment (By the way, did you know that today [9/4/09] has over 150 pages of comments?), and I couldn't help but notice that some people are complaining about the fact that the game lags a little right before you land. Now, I know why it does this. The platform heights, distances, types, and obstacles are obviously random, right? But they are generally not completely unreachable by the player. The game needs to calculate the ranges the player can reach and then put it into action. It does this right as you land on the last platform made. That's why it lags. Or, to make it simple, it's magic. Hope that helps.
